Stone Roads
What are ANT Stone Roads?
Conventional road base layers are typically constructed using unbound materials like WMM, WBM, or stabilized with cement (CTB). While CTB offers improved strength, it requires high-quality aggregates and necessitates a mandatory curing period of 7 days or more due to the heat of hydration of cement. “ANT” Stone Roads, on the other hand, employ a novel stabilization technique using an “ANT” Stabilizer, an organic liquid that reacts with soil and aggregates to form strong crystalline bonds without any curing.
Unlike CTB, where cement hydration generates heat and causes thermal stresses, leading to cracks and reduced durability, “ANT” Stone Roads utilize a different stabilization mechanism. Cement in “ANT” layers participates in redox reactions, with no heat generation and the risk of thermal cracking. This unique approach enhances the long-term durability of “ANT” stabilized layers..
This technology allows for the utilization of locally available materials, including marginal aggregates and even some soils, minimizing the need for high-quality aggregates and reducing environmental impact. At the same time the base layer becomes more strong, durable and long lasting.
Introducing ANT Stone Roads Technology
The field of application of the ANT Stone Roads Technology
— Creating bases of high-traffic roads (federal highways, district and municipal roads);
— Creating pavements of low-traffic roads (countryside, technical, haul roads);
— Creating bases and pavements of industrial facilities (ports, industrial plants, warehouses).

The ANT Stabilizer
The ANT Soil Stabilizer (further ANT Stabilizer) is a complex organic agent that aims to perform reactions of reduction-oxidation in a material.
The ANT Soil Stabilizer produces a directed reaction of reduction-oxidation by exposure to molecular oxygen on the surface of the particles of the material to be strengthened. This results in the formation of new crystalline bonds between the particles of the material thus strengthened. As a result, an artificial stone material is formed. This reaction replicates the natural processes of formation of stone sedimentary rocks.
The ANT Stabilizer is completely safe for man and the environment, both in a concentrated form and in a water solution.

The ANT Stabilizer application rules.
The ANT Stabilizer is used as a water solution. The amounts required of the ANT Stabilizer and water to prepare a water solution are calculated based on the weight of the material, which is used to create a plate.
The consumption rate of the ANT Stabilizer is 0.0035% to 0.01% of the weight of the material, which is used to create a stone plate. The recommended consumption rate is 0.007% of the weight of the material. The amount of water required is calculated proceeding from the optimal compaction humidity and natural humidity of the material used. The necessary amounts of the ANT Stabilizer and water are mixed in a separate container and then the water solution prepared is used to execute the works.
